The Convoy of Hope event promises to be one of Roswell's largest community outreach events to extend help to those in need in the city's history. Local civic organizations, businesses, medical organizations and churches are partnering together to serve our community. Join with us and be a tanglible expression of hope to your community. "We are excited to work with Convoy of Hope to meet a vital, yet unacknowledged need in Roswell," says Barbara Duffy, Director of North Fulton Community Charities in Roswell. "We at NFCC are experiencing our largest demand ever. We are now seeing more than 100 families a day who need help with food, clothing, rent, and other critical needs."
Convoy of Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes, trains and resources organizations and churches to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of those needing support in their community. Since 1994, Convoy of Hope has partnered with local communities to conduct over 400 outreaches across the United States.
The Convoy of Hope event will take place at Roswell City Hall and will reach out to 4,000-7,000 families in need from the Roswell area. This effort will utilize nearly 1,000 volunteers, distribute over 35,000 lbs. of groceries and provide other humanitarian services.
